Butternut Cupcakes

Making The Butternut Cupcakes

You can use a white or yellow cake mix. Put a little bit of the butternut flavoring in the cake mix as well.

For The Icing:

* 1 cup milk

* 1/4 cup all-purpose flour

* 2 cups powdered sugar

* 1 cup butter or margarine, softened

* 3 teaspoons Butternut Flavoring

In a saucepan blend milk into flour. Cook and stir over medium heat till the mixture is very thick. Cover & chill. In a mixer bowl cream together sugar and butter r margarine till light and fluffy. Beat in milk-flour mixture. Beat till mixture resembles whipped cream, about 10 minutes. Beat in butternut flavoring.
